Situated in the foothills of the North Downs Way, the Red Lion is set in an idyllic setting where you can appreciate good food and drink and a relaxing overnight stay.

The Red Lion is a happy combination of village pub, delicious food and comfortable accommodation. You can come for a drink in cosy surroundings with our wood burner roaring away in the cooler months. We always have a choice of three real ales and if you prefer something with more of a kick, we have an extensive range of single malt whisky, vodka, gin, brandy and rum to keep you interested.

If you fancy more than a drink, you can enjoy a relaxed and leisurely meal in our restaurant or in our large garden in the Summer.

On top of all this we have 6 guest rooms that you can relax even more in!

Children

Well-behaved children are more than welcome and although we have no specific children's menu, we are happy to tailor certain dishes to suit their size; these can be seen on our menu.

Dogs

Dogs are welcome in our bar area where we have two tables available that can be used for either drinks or dinner with the company of your dog/s. Please be aware that these tables are popular so if you would like to eat please book in advance.

Food

We are proud of our food, so only the best ingredients make it on to our menu. Choose from pub classics such as short-crust pastry steak & ale pie to fish and chips to our well-known 100% 8oz beef burger.

We also have carefully prepared weekly specials where Salt Marsh lamb, Windsor pork and Gressingham duck occasionally appear on the board as well as many fish specials.

All our food is cooked to order from fresh ingredients with daily specials complementing our seasonally changing menu.

The Red Lion has an interesting history with some parts of it built around 1730. Our Wisteria is said to be more than 230 years old; if true this would make it the oldest Wisteria in the country.

Our six en-suite rooms overlook our cricket field, with views of the Surrey Hills in the near distance.

With both Reigate and Dorking only 10 minutes away and London's main airports, Heathrow and Gatwick, within easy reach. The Red Lion is the perfect place for business or pleasure.
